Children are a gift from the Lord (Psa. 127:3).  Every parent knows and feels this!  This is why we are committed to investing into the next generation.  And the greatest legacy we could ever leave a child is a passionate faith and love for Jesus Christ.  This is why we do what we do in our Children's Ministry...

We value God's Word as the all-sufficient and absolute truth for all matters of daily living.  Therefore we teach all of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation.  Any child who attends regularly will study virtually every book of the Bible in eight years.  In view of God's directives, we want our ministry to support and guide parents in their efforts to train their kids.  The Bible teaches us that God has given the responsibility and privilege of training children to their parents.

"These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up." ~ Deuteronomy 6:6-7

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." ~ Ephesians 6:4 

This main purpose can be summed up in the motto, "The Whole Bible to the Whole Family."  Adult home groups (Flocks) study in concert with the children's Bible School classes because we hope to facilitate conversations and training at home around the Scriptures.

Each of our Children's workers are thoroughly screened and approved by the leaders of FBC.  They are dedicated to the safety, enjoyment and spiritual growth of each child in our ministry.  We would love to have the privilege of serving your family through our Children's Ministry!
