FBC of South County is a growing and healthy church whose roots began in a home in June of 2002. Since then, the Lord has graciously moved us into a new Sunday facility, Stoneybrooke Christian School in Ladera Ranch. We are a "family" church with an emphasis on loving relationships, mutual support and encouragement, and a unified desire to grow spiritually.
| There is a central vision that drives everything we do: it is an earnest desire to see the God of the Bible glorified and worshiped and loved in the hearts of people. From our corporate worship service, to our Sunday classes, to our weekly Bible studies, we want to be passionate about the greatest "treasure" in the entire universe, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  | The common thread that keeps this vision alive is the Bible. Since we believe that the Bible is the very word of God to man, we have been given all the truth we need in order to worship Him. It is the sole source of authority and sufficiency for all our beliefs and practices, which is why our church is deeply committed to studying and teaching the Scriptures. Our worship services are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (starting at 10:15 a.m. on Sundays). Our worship service is for the entire family, although we do provide childcare for children between the ages of birth through 5 years.
Our praise/music style is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise music with the priority given to the biblical truth in each song we sing. There is also a time for prayer and meditation at each service. The first Sunday of each month, we remember the Lord's death by celebrating communion.
The sermons are typically 45-50 minutes in length and seek to instruct the mind as well as engage the heart with the Bible. Every sermon is designed to faithfully teach what the Bible says and to apply it to our everyday lives.
